Haus Höddelbusch is located at the entrance to the former district town of Schleiden in the romantic Oleftal valley and right next to the Eifel National Park.
Schleiden is known for its wooded area and is a popular starting point for walks and excursions to the Eifel lakes, the Rur valley and the Hocheifel winter sports area.
The holiday home has 42 comfortable beds in various rooms with shower and WC.
TV room, internet access, billiard room with table football, piano, beer garden and play facilities for young and old are available. In addition, our house has a charging station via app for e-cars. The Höddelbusch house is also powered by renewable energies. Our own snack bar is open.
New: An infrared cabin is now available to guests.
Due to its exposed location, our house is particularly interesting for those seeking relaxation and is popular as a hiker’s holiday home and biker’s holiday home.

Ideal starting point for wonderful hikes in unspoilt nature
Do you like hiking? Then you are in good hands with us. Thanks to the location of our house in the immediate vicinity of the Eifel National Park and in the middle of the Hohes Venn – Eifel Nature Park, you will find an ideal starting point for your tours. Practically all starting points of the numerous hiking trails are easily accessible from here.
At our reception you will find up-to-date information material on various tours and destinations, and our staff will be happy to help you plan and organise your tours.

Wonderful tours in fantastic scenery
For cyclists, our house offers an ideal entry point to the dam route. Here our house offers you an ideal entry point to explore the largest dam system in Western Europe by bike. Information material for planning your stages, e.g. the Urft Valley Reservoir Route. The wildly meandering Urft lies in the middle of the Eifel National Park and offers a largely undisturbed nature experience. But other dam routes, for example the Oleftalsperrenroute or the Rurtalsperrenroute, can also be easily tackled from here.
This also applies to the growing number of motorcyclists who like to visit our house again and again. Pleasure riders who enjoy the many winding routes in the beautiful landscape, or riders from neighbouring countries who like to stop here on their way to the Nürburgring.
